Tiger Data is the company behind TimescaleDB, selling a managed PostgreSQL platform tuned for time series and machine generated data, with automatic partitioning, row and columnar storage, tiered storage and time series SQL functions. The company renamed from Timescale recently, so both names still circulate in documentation and comparisons.
